  11. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I end with 72 stitches in the upper part of the bootie and 80 stitches in the sole. They should be the same to slip stitch into both, right?

    1. Do you count your stiches by the end of each round?round of first sole should have 49 dcs+3ch and the increase in next round is done in the stiches made in the first 7 dcs&top of 3ch of the begining of first round and the 8 dcs made in the side chain (first ch madewhen started and you get total of 65 +3 ch

    3. I altered the sole to work. I realized after that I had the instep upside down. That is why my stitch count was less.

  15. I too am having difficulties on the sides. I don’t find the instructions to be clear. Where should I begin round 1 of the sides? Do I turn the work around?

    1. You start the side where you attach the chain, ch 3 and continue with work on instep , do not turn, hope this is helpful
